The Computer Based Examination result was declared on 12.10.2026, and candidates were provisionally shortlisted for PET/PST through List-I (Female) and List-II (Male, other than SSF). After representations from candidates, the Commission explained that some applicants of SC, ST, OBC, EWS and ESM categories qualified the CBE on the standards prescribed for Unreserved candidates under the Examination Notice, so they were shown as UR in the earlier lists. In its notice dated 23.10.2026, the Commission has now uploaded detailed lists on its website showing both the category under which candidates applied and the category against which they were considered. 2. WHAT THE COMMISSION HAS CLARIFIED
The clarification responds to representations received from some candidates.
- The Commission received representations from some candidates seeking clarification on the categories shown in List-I (Female) and List-II (Male) of provisionally shortlisted candidates.
- Certain candidates who applied under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM in the Online Application Form qualified the Computer Based Examination (CBE) on the standards prescribed for Unreserved (UR) candidates, as per the Examination Notice.
- Accordingly, their category was shown as UR in the lists published earlier on the Commission’s website.
- The Commission has now uploaded detailed lists showing both the actual category under which the candidates applied and the category against which they have been considered.
- All other terms and conditions of the CBE result remain unchanged.
